The hip and happening people at Household Finance threw quite a party last night at the Hotel Vancouver.
Well, of course they did -- they hired The Neurotics.
To our fans who mobbed us after the show: we're sorry we couldn't accommodate all of the many requests for photographs with the band, but sometimes our chauffered double-decker bus simply can't wait.

Oh, what fools we Neurotics are.
We forgot to wish Ringo Starr a happy birthday on July 7, last Saturday, when he turned sixty-one.
He shares his birthday with Robert A. Heinlein, "Doc" Severinson from the Tonight Show, Gary Cooper, Pierre Cardin, and Shelley Duval, among others.
And, on Ringo's twenty-seventh birthday in 1967, the Beatles released "All You Need Is Love."

Snappity snap snap
Some die-hard Neurotics fans who attended our July 1 Canada Day performance at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre for the Post to Post 10K Run brought along their digital camera.
Now we've posted those photos for all to see on our photo page (logically enough). Thank you, Gerard and Rimka, for the lovely snapshots. The colours of our sequined jackets with the red and white of the Canadian flags make our hearts swell with pride.
Of course, it could just be gas.

Thank you to everyone who dropped by to see us at the Post to Post 10K Run yesterday.
We're still profoundly disappointed that we weren't allowed to jump nude out of the giant Canada Day cake as we had planned. Sometimes health regulations just get in the way, we think.
Perhaps next year?
