![[Neurotics]](images/minibug_neurotics.gif) We've made some adjustments to our calendar to reflect recent changes to our itinerary.
Both The Neurotics and HourGlass are rocking hard in the next month -- we have seven shows before the end of the year.

According to Arrow 93 FM's This Day in Rock 'n' Roll History, six years ago today saw the Beatles' "Anthology" set a new first-day sales record (450,000 CDs) and witnessed Billie Joe Armstrong of the band Green Day get arrested for dropping his pants during a concert in Milwaukee.
I'm sure John would have been proud.

Today is a momentous day.
38 years ago, on November 9, 1963, The Kingsmen released "Louie Louie." They spent $36 (U.S.) to tape it at Northwest Recorders in Portland, Oregon, as an audition disc for a cruise ship gig. Three of the members from 1963 are still in the band today.
Woah, baby.

Speak it, baby!
An article at Audiogalaxy says it: "The truth is that if any one musical genre can lay full claim, if not to evil, then at least to total moral decadence, that genre is soft-rock. Soft -- not hard -- rock is the true 'devil's music.' The blood now drained from what was once its throbbing hard-on of youth, energy, and idealism, soft-rock dwells in the flaccid, bankrupt, and sold-out nether realm of numbed complacency and total moral deflation. Soft-rock is rock compromised, corrupted, perverted, and ruined."
The Neurotics would also nominate "smooth jazz" (it ain't no jazz, pets) as an unindicted co-conspirator.
