Forty years ago today, on January 24, 1962, The Neurotics were on our way to sign a management contract with Brian Epstein in Liverpool, England, but our MGB broke down and we were two minutes and thirteen seconds late -- so The Beatles signed the deal instead.
We've been cheesed off about it ever since.

This Friday and Saturday, The Neurotics are playing not one, but two separate sixtieth birthday parties in the Vancouver area. Joining us on bass will be the inimitable Doink Neurotic (see him on our song list page).
Doink is filling in for Lumpy Neurotic, who is playing the Fairview Pub this weekend as his secret alter ego.

Welcome to the twenty-first-and-a-bit'th century, baby!
The Neurotics and HourGlass are already booking up for this year. We have shows on January 10, 25, 26, April 21, May 25, July 15, and July 20 scheduled so far. We'll be updating the calendar page soon -- keep an eye on it for future updates.
Dirty Neurotic sings and plays guitar and keyboards. He also enjoys skeet shooting, spelunking, and collecting rare Bolivian corned beef containers.
