Every year for four years, since the ancient days of A.D. 2000, The Neurotics have roused themselves at an early hour on Canada Day, July 1, to play for a crowd of sweaty runners at the Post-2-Post 10 K run, home of the country's largest Canada birthday cake.
Canada Day 2003 was bittersweet, for it marked what may be the final appearance this year of bass player extraordinaire Lumpy Neurotic with the band, since he has once again decided that he'd rather spend his time in Whitehorse, Yukon than be anywhere within smelling radius of the rest of us. Good luck, Lumpy! We'll miss you!
